I put this hat through it's paces while skiing in Hokkaido this past January: glad to have had it for the visit!
It snowed non-stop for a week, so this hat was worn virtually all times spent outside. This beanie was warm, and warm when wet, like a thoroughbred wool garment should be. 100% wool for the win.
If comfort, especially comfort in adverse conditions are what you're seeking, this hat is for you.
It’s never too warm in Colorado to wear a beanie. Nights get cold even in the summer, so if you like to camp or hike 14ers, this is your beanie. Also love that the name literally means mountain peak.
